The screening of L’Amazone in Bruxelles

LAmazone screening

A documentary about a family where women have been affected by breast cancer for four generations

On World Cancer Day, EORTC hosted a stimulating debate in collaboration with Screen Box / Bah Voyons! Asbl, followed by discussion with Professor Michail Ignatiadis -a leading breast cancer expert and Chair of the EORTC BC Group to mark the screening of L’Amazone – an intimate portrayal of one woman’s journey through breast cancer, as seen through the eyes of her daughter and other family members. The film which had its world premiere at the 2024 Namur Film Festival is filled with love and resilience, whilst focussing also on the path between diagnosis and treatment.
