EORTC taking part in World Radiotherapy Day on 7th September 2025
We’re thrilled to announce that EORTC is joining World Radiotherapy Awareness Day (WRAD), launching on 7 September 2025.
This new annual day aims to highlight the vital role of radiotherapy in cancer treatment and advocate for greater global access to this life-saving therapy. EORTC is proud to lend its voice to WRAD, using our expertise to emphasise radiotherapy’s indispensable contribution to curing and controlling cancers, alleviating symptoms, and improving patients’ quality of life.
The E²-RADIatE platform is transforming radiation oncology in Europe by driving innovation through real-world data collection. EORTC, in partnership with The boots group is working to establish new standards of care for patients requiring radiotherapy.
With 1 in 2 cancer patients needing radiotherapy during treatment, this collaboration is essential to improving outcomes.
